siddhartha comes to america

I was waiting patiently outside of my house when finally the helicopter slowly descended down with a loud roar and landed down on the ground, Siddhartha had stepped out slowly. After our usual greetings Siddhartha and I began our adventures for the day. Our first stop was at a rave party in an underground club. We climbed back into the helicopter as its propellers whirled and we began to take flight once again. After about a couple hours of flight we landed down in Hong Kong. Siddhartha and I walked the crowded streets of hustling business people as we searched for the club waiting for dawn to approach. The sun began to set with a vibrant array of colors in the sky when we had finally found it. We went into a warehouse then took an elevator down, as the doors began to slide open Siddhartha’s eyes just lit up. The pounding music causing his whole body to vibrate, the florescent lights flashing everywhere, the people dancing on the floor sweating, glowing with accessories they had brought. He hastily went into the crowd and began to dance with the others. Soon a circle had formed around him as everyone cheered for him, letting him feel the rush of excitement flow through him like a river, the adrenaline pumping into him making him want more and more. Eventually he had worn himself out and walked over to the bar to relax with a crowd of admirers following him. Some of them had bought him a drink, although he was a little hesitant about it he still gave it a try so he could bask in the live for the moment. He was drinking and laughing with his new friends having a great time. Around 4 in the morning Siddhartha approached ready to leave so that he could go home and relax. “That was a ton of fun, thanks so much for allowing me to partake in this event with you”. I looked at him and just chuckled as we started to exit the building finding a nearby hotel and just rented a room and slept the day away.

We awoke the next morning as the sun shone brightly through the window with a gentle heat from its rays. We both yawned as we rose up and got ready for the day. After a morning of feasting upon scrumptious breakfast foods we headed out to the helicopter again. We stepped in and began flying searching for a nice place to relax and reminisce about the day. We found a nice spring water lake on top of a calm mountain. We began to descend once again landing next to the lake. We leaped off of the helicopter and began walking around the soft mosey ground of the mountain until we had found the right spot.
He spotted a nice place to sit and he began to meditate next to the lake and I lay down beside him looking up at the skies. The clouds that day were very wispy and gently floated across the blue sky. There was a soft wind blowing in our faces keeping us cool as the suns rays beamed down on us. He breathed deeply taking in the fresh mountain air, the gentle sent of grass, moss, and water aroused his nose as he breathed. As he breathed he thought to himself “what and amazing place to find ones self, I wish I had found this place earlier so that I may have had a more diverse and enriching place in which to meditate upon” The soft chirps of birds over head filled our ears, water gently trickling down the rocky mountain side. He basked in the glory of the beauteous landscape that peered over the mountain. He winced open his eyes looking around at the environment that is surrounding him. He was overwhelmed with the extravagant array of everything that was before him.

As he sat there he began to remember the time he had at the rave the night before. It reminded him of the time that he had gone to the city and drank and gambled before. He remembered the fun that he had last night and the joy he felt while dancing and drinking with all the people. He then began to think about now, how calm and serene he is feeling. The cool relaxing scenery that surrounded him, engulfing him within its wonderment. He kept thinking to himself which he was more enthralled with, the joys and pleasures of the city, being with friends going out and just enjoying life living it up, or is it the tranquil mountain top that allowed him to see life how it truly is, to observe it and all its interesting and intriguing ways of life.
